Job matching shouldn't have to be a keyword lottery. If a job seeker is editing yet another version of a Resume he edited last week, ... this is a reminder of the fundamental deficiency of current job matching methods.

SkillZoom helps job seekers create a single, comprehensive inventory of their skills and competencies toward ANY and ALL potential job roles they wish to explore. Some individuals think of their SkillZoom Profile as "all my Resumes combined into one", in a single place. Recruiters can search for skills and competencies from a single dataset, rather than from several folders containing several Resume variants for the same person. More importantly, both recruiters and job seekers use the same set of terms and word choices, in context, eliminating all ambiguity, and the very need to create Resumes with alternate word choices or possibly misleading keywords.

SkillZoom is a membership organization. After you register, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Carefully read, understand, and agree to the spirit and letter of SkillZoom membership.

2. Start the New Member registration process ... (a valid email is required for reconfirmation).

3. Job seekers enter their individual SkillZoom Profile, then set system preferences and specific occupations they will consider at this time. The thorough process takes about 30 minutes, depending on experience levels.

4. Consulting firms enter their firm's SkillZoom Profile (including previous projects and accomplishments), and specify what type of work their firm is offering at this time.

5. You're done! When recruiters post a new vacancy, they use terms that are identical to those used by job seekers and consultants in their SkillZoom Profile. The search procedure also compares the job vacancy against the job seeker's explicitly stated preferences. The recruiter selects the group of persons to invite. They receive an email inviting them to express interest about the vacancy. Job seekers may either respond: "Yes, I am interested" - or -  "No, Thanks".

The rest of the process is up to you!
